On May 5th, the CAN(China Aviation News) held the 2017 Communicating Conference among Aviation Colleges and Universities in Binzhou University. Liu Hongyi,CAN President, Yang Hongzhang, Deputy Secretary of CPC of Binzhou University, Hu Bo, Vice President of Binzhou University, and other heads from aviation colleges, universities and companies attended the meeting. Jiang Chunyan, Deputy Director of the China Aviation Daily, chaired the meeting. In the same period, the conference held the ceremony of the opening ceremony of the aviation academy good news award and the “Kaipu Culture Cup”, the 5th Aviation Cultural Creativity Contest.
Liu Hongyi pointed out in the speech that he appreciated Binzhou University's great preparation and services done for the meeting. He introduced the basic information of Chinese Aviation Industry Corp. and the China Aviation Newspaper's development direction, goal and plan. Yang Hongzhang expressed a warm welcome to all of the leaders and colleagues participated at the meeting. He then introduced some important measures on the basic situation of the university, three-stepdevelopment of strategy in constructing a high level applied university characterized mainly in aviation and speeding up the transformation in characteristic development and strength the characteristics in transformation and development.
During the communication of meeting, the representatives present discussed and advised actively, providing CAN Press and some aviation schools with many good suggestions in activity-organizing. People who attended the meeting also watched the retrospect of some creative works of aviation culture and attended the aviation photography show. Besides, they visited the campus, including the Flying College of Binzhou University, and Dagao Aviation City in Binzhou.
