Recently, the 15th Challenge Cup National College Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition came to an end and Duan Chongqun, a student from Electromechanical Engineering School, won the third prize with his work “land film cleaning straw for the field machine”.
The “Challenge Cup” is one of the most authorized and oriented college student competition, also known as the Olympics for college students innovation. Co-hosted by the Central Committee of the Communist Young League, China Association for Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, All-China Students' Federation and Shanghai Municipal Government, the competition boasts the topic “Youth is the New Impetus to Challenge the Impossible”. There are 755 works from 314 universities adopted in the final round.
