On June 20th, the training course for civil aviation management of leading cadres of our school was officially opened at the Civil Aviation Management Academy of China. Sha Hongjiang, party secretary of the Civil Aviation Management Institute of China, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome speech. Hu Bo, Party Committee Member and Vice President of the University, made a mobilization speech. Yang Yusen, member of the Party Committee and Vice President, attended the opening ceremony. Li Jun, former chairman of the China Air Transport Association and former deputy director of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, gave a special report titled "Opportunities and Challenges in Building a Strong Civil Aviation in the New Era."
In his speech, Hu Bo expressed warm congratulations to the smooth opening of the training class on behalf of the school and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the thoughtful planning, careful preparation, and warm reception of the Civil Aviation Management Cadre Academy. He pointed out that the Civil Aviation Management Cadre Academy, directly under the Civil Aviation Administration of China, is the main channel for industrial management personnel training, a new type of think tank for industry development, and an important platform for communication and exchange among the civil aviation industry. This training is of great significance to improving the ideological and political theories, teaching standards, and management capabilities of the leading cadres of our school, as well as the transformation and development of our school and the development of aviation characteristics. He demanded that leading cadres participating in the training should correct their learning attitude, study at ease, concentrate on ideas, be conscientious, and study in a down-to-earth manner; they must combine the objectives of building a high-level application-oriented university with aviation as the main feature, and comprehend the learning content. Adhere to the combination of learning and use, so as to apply what they learn; strictly abide by the training discipline, implement the learning system, and complete the learning task.
This training is an important measure for the strengthening of aviation connotation construction in our school. It is also an important part of the “Year of Cadre Quality Improvement” activity. It aims to further study and discuss the laws of teaching, scientific research, management, and cooperation between industry, university and research institutes in aviation colleges and universities. The abilities and qualities of leading academies of aviation academies and related functional departments further emancipated the mind, updated ideas, continuously improved the entrepreneurial ability of officers of the leading cadres of our school and accelerated the construction of high-level application-oriented universities with aviation as the main feature of the school.
The training course lasted for three days. The training content mainly included “Opportunities and Challenges in the Building of a Strong Civil Aviation State in the New Era”, nine special reports such as “Civil Aviation Safety Management”, “Airport Operations Management” and “Civil Aviation Scientific Research Project Application Exchange” and on-site visits by civil aviation maintenance companies.
A total of 24 people from the Aviation Academy and related departments of our school participated in the training.
