Recently, the 2018 China International Aircraft Design Challenge Competition held in Jiande came to a successful conclusion. Our school's RC team participated in the competition of limited-range airdrop, electric glider, FPV racing, remote fixed-wing racing, remote-controlled paper plane traversing, and aircraft design and technology innovation. It won 3 first prizes and 2 second prizes. 2 prizes and 2 third prizes.
Among them, Guo Meng’s “Remote-controlled fixed-wing racing”, Leng Linjian’s “High-lift body tilting three-rotor aircraft design and flight test verification”, Chen Shuang’s “Electric Glider” won the first prize; Chen Shuang et al. "Efficient long-haul vertical take-off and landing aircraft single-engine dual-rotor main power system design", Guo Meng's "FPV racing" won the second prize; Guo Meng's "remote control paper plane through the race", the prince The "FPV Racing" won the third prize.
Organized by the State Sports General Administration, the China Aviation Sports Association, and the China International Aircraft Design Challenge Organizing Committee, the China International Aircraft Design Challenge is an aerospace model event that integrates technology, education and sports. The Aviation Design Competition, the European University Student Aircraft Design Competition and the World University Research Aircraft Design Competition attracted 53 institutions from Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and the Chinese People's Liberation Army Armored Academy. More than 600 players from some aircraft research and development institutions participated in the competition.
