On September 22nd, the 10th Shandong University Student Science and Technology Festival Series - University Student Biology Teaching Skills Competition of Shandong was held in our school. Zhao Zuntian, Chairman of the Shandong Botanical Society, Fan Shoujin, Secretary-General of the Shandong Zoological Society, and Wang Juzhi, Director of the Shandong Institute of Zoology, attended the opening and closing ceremonies of the contest.
The competition is conducted in the form of on-site simulation lectures and impromptu speeches. The competition is fair and equitable through random grouping, anonymous scoring, and micro-class classroom recording. The contestants have their strengths and strengths in teaching design, on-site lectures, and on-the-spot contingency. The competition won a total of 44 special prizes, 60 first prizes and 87 second prizes. Our students showed a good spirit in the competition, and won 4 special prizes, 2 first prizes and 4 second prizes.
The competition was hosted by the Shandong Botanical Society, the Shandong Zoological Society, and the Shandong Provincial Education Society Biological Teaching Research Committee. It was hosted by the School of Biological and Environmental Engineering. More than 230 teachers and students from 19 universities across the province and 32 expert judges from the province's biology teaching field and teaching front participated in the competition.
