Great Results in the National College Student Mathematics Competition and Shandong University Student Mathematics Competition

Recently, the 10th National College Student Mathematics Competition and the 9th Shandong University Student Mathematics Competition have successfully concluded. Our students won 8 first prizes, 11 second prizes and 26 third prizes in the national preliminaries; 33 provincial first prizes, 36 second prizes and 104 third prizes. Three teachers were awarded the title of Excellent Instructor.
        The competition was organized by the China Mathematical Society Popularization Working Committee and the Shandong Science and Technology Association. It is a provincial high-level academic competition for undergraduate students. It aims to train talents, serve teaching, and promote mathematics in colleges and universities. Curriculum construction increases students' interest in mathematics, enhances students' ability to analyze and solve problems, discovers and selects mathematical innovation talents, and provides a stage for young students to demonstrate basic knowledge and thinking skills.
