On December 18th, the award ceremony for the 2018 “Love Student” Scholarship held by our school was held in the second lecture hall of the Academy Hall. Li Changhai, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of our school, and Yi Shouguo, the stationmaster of Binzhou Central Blood Station, attended the ceremony. The Propaganda Department, the Student Affairs Office, the Cooperative Development Department, the head of the Youth League Committee, and the staff of the blood station in Binzhou Center, nearly 500 people from the branch secretary and student representatives of the second-level universitys and universities of our school attended the ceremony.
Li Changhai expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the blood station in Binzhou Center for his care and support, and fully affirmed the contribution of university students to the blood donation. He demanded that the commended students should cherish the honor, study hard, and serve the motherland; the majority of young students should follow the example of the beloved students, dedication and love, and be the communicator of positive energy; the school league committee and the second-level universitys Support to raise awareness, take multiple measures, give full play to the educational function of voluntary service such as voluntary blood donation, and promote the overall growth of students.
At the ceremony, 20 students who were good at learning, enthusiastic about public welfare, and actively participated in blood donation were commended. This year, a total of 2,175 students participated in the blood donation activity, with a blood donation amount of 442,200 ml, which contributed to the promotion of the blood donation in Binzhou.
