Students Achieved Good Results in the National College Student Mathematical Modeling Competition

Recently, the High Education Society Cup National University Student Mathematical Modeling Contest 2019, sponsored by the Chinese Society of Industry and Applied Mathematics, came to an end. Our school won 1 national second prize, as well as 18 first prizes, eight second prizes and one 3rd prize in Shandong Province.
         The National College Students Mathematical Modeling Contest aims to stimulate students 'enthusiasm for learning mathematics, improve students' comprehensive ability to use mathematical models and computer technology to solve practical problems, and cultivate their creative spirit and sense of cooperation. A total of 1490 colleges / campuses from across the country, the United States and Malaysia, 42992 teams (39,293 undergraduate teams and 3699 junior colleges), and nearly 130,000 people signed up for the competition.
