On June 18, our school held the 2020 graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony in the Academy Hall. The graduation ceremony was held on site and broadcasted online simultaneously. Party Committee Secretary Liu Chunhua, Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Principal Li Changhai, Party Committee Deputy Secretary Song Shuping, Party Committee Member and Vice President Hu Bo, Li Weinian, Yang Yusen, Party Committee Member and Disciplinary Committee Secretary, Supervisory Commissioner Wu Changfu, Party Committee Member and Organization Minister Sun Caishun, Propaganda Minister Suo Xiang Xing and United Front Minister Lin Xiaojin attended the graduation ceremony. School leaders award degrees and certificates to graduates. Hu Bo presided over the ceremony.

In his speech, Li Changhai extended warm congratulations to more than 6,000 graduates who successfully completed their studies on behalf of the school, and expressed heartfelt thanks to all teachers, all management and service staff who have worked hard for the growth of students and their families. 413 students joined the Communist Party of China, 578 students were rated as outstanding graduates at the provincial and school levels, 776 students won national and provincial government scholarships and inspirational scholarships, 2,178 students won awards in provincial and higher discipline competitions, 125 students realize their self-employment and 1,087 students received a postgraduate admission letter.
The school witnessed the beautiful youth of the students, and the growth of the students has also promoted the reform and development of the school: the students experienced the school successfully passed the review and evaluation of the undergraduate teaching work of the Ministry of Education; witnessed the new apartments, restaurants, and sports fields and made great strides towards the construction of a high-level applied university with aviation as its main feature. With a kind of unsatisfaction as a complete ending in university life, such a special experience will surely make students think more about the future of the country, the happiness of the people, and the direction of work, which will benefit the students for life. He encouraged the graduates to connect their personal growth with the country’s future and national future, realize their personal ambitions and values in the great practice of serving the motherland, to become a useful, beneficial, and valuable young generation.
