Our School Achieved Good Results in the 6th Shandong Province "Internet +" University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

From August 29th to September 1st, the finals of the 6th Shandong Internet University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition will be held online and offline. After school competitions, preliminary evaluations of provincial competitions, online reviews, and final selections, our school won one silver, one bronze and excellent organization awards. Co-instructed by Sun Luqing (first instructor), Song Lijun (third instructor) and Xia Jiangbao (second instructor) of Shandong Key Laboratory of Yellow River Delta Ecological Environment of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, hosted by Sun Kang, a 2017 graduate of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering The participating project Bifang Technology-Smart Agriculture Explorer on the Saline Alkali Land in the Yellow River Delta won the Silver Award in the Commercial Group of the Red Tour Track. Co-directed by Sun Weiwei from the Admissions and Employment Office, Hao Wei from the Flight Academy, and Liu Hongyan from the Academic Affairs Office, the entry project Makefly—A Heuristic Aviation STEAM Education Program for Teenagers hosted by Wang Shifa, a 2018 student of the Flight Academy, won the Bronze Award in the Creative Group of the Higher Education Master Circuit .
        For the first time, this competition adopted a combination of online and offline methods. The competition attracted 142 colleges and universities in the province to participate. The Academic Affairs Office, the Admissions and Employment Office and the Youth League Committee of our school are responsible for the division of labor and work together. A total of 676 projects were organized to participate in the competition. The number of participating students reached 5,706 and won the Excellent Organization Award for the first time. Our school promotes learning, teaching, and innovation through competitions. Students' innovative spirit, entrepreneurial awareness and innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities have been effectively tempered and improved, and the quality of the school's high-level applied talent training has been continuously improved.
