On the morning of October 31, our school's first pilot graduation tenth anniversary sorority and Feng Ru sculpture donation ceremony were held in the square in front of the Flying College. Li Changhai, deputy secretary of the party committee and principal of our school, Hu Bo, member of the party committee and vice president, Suo Xiangxing, member of the party committee and minister of propaganda, and Zhang Fengyi, a meritorious pilot of the Civil Aviation of China and consultant of the Flight Academy, attended the ceremony. In his speech, Hu Bo extended a warm welcome to all the alumni, congratulated the first pilots graduation tenth anniversary party, and expressed heartfelt thanks to the first pilots for donating Feng Ru sculpture to the school and adding new cultural connotations to the school. He introduced the development of the school in the past ten years and the achievements of the first pilot, and pointed out that the first pilot was honored to his alma mater on the tenth anniversary of graduation. The charitable act of donating Feng Ru sculpture to the school will definitely promote the glory of our school. Before the donation ceremony, the first pilot representative of our school also visited the campus and deeply moved by the great changes in the school over the past ten years, and felt happy and proud of the development of the school.
After the ceremony, the first pilot's tenth anniversary symposium was held in the third lecture hall of the Academy Hall. Hu Bo awarded the outstanding alumni certificate to the first pilot representative, and encouraged the majority of alumni to learn how to behave and do things, and strive to become a person with strong thinking, superb skills, good physical ability, and noble morals. In the afternoon, the first report on the growth of pilots was held in the first lecture hall of the Academy Hall. Wang Renchong, the first pilot representative and the captain instructor of Shandong Airlines, and Wang Fulei, the first pilot representative and the captain instructor of Shenzhen Airlines, shared their own flying experience and work tasks in their careers, sharing their flight experience and insights the teachers and students. The first pilots also held a unique basketball friendly match with the students of the Flying College on the basketball court to meet friends and communicate with each other.
It is reported that the Feng Ru statue, which was jointly funded by the first pilots and donated to the school, is worth more than 50,000 yuan. It is composed of a two-story pedestal and a Feng Ru statue. The school was established in 1954. The main body of the statue of Feng Ru is made of Guangxi white marble with a clear height of 2006 mm. It represents the establishment of the Flying Academy in 2006 and also represents the first pilot donation.
