Students Achieved Good rResults in the 12th Provincial College Student Physics Technology Innovation Competition

On November 1, the 12th Shandong University Student Physics Technology Innovation Competition came to an end. Our school students won 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 2 third prizes.
        Among them, Liu Xiaofei, Wang Chuanmin and Jiang Yue's work Ultrasonic Sound Velocity Measurement and Suspension Transmission Device and Liu Xiujuan, Zhang Shengnan, Jing Zhaolan's work Improved Scheme Design of Three-wire Pendulum Measuring Moment of Inertia Experimental Instrument won the first prize; Wang Hao, Xu Tongjie, Wang Xingxia’s Ion Propeller Demonstrator, Zhang Shengnan, Yang Tengfei, Liu Xiujuan’s Homemade Electrostatic Precipitator Demonstrator, Xia Le, Zhou Guangle, Liu Ji’s Homemade Controllable Electromagnetic Ejection Demonstrator and Liu Weihao, Gui Chang Xu and Guo Congkai's work Quantitative verification of Doppler effect using smart phones won the second prize; Gui Changxu, Zhao Dongyang, and Wang Fengqi's work Using smart phones to measure spring stiffness and acceleration of gravity, Guo Congkai, Wang Mingbo , Li Mengdi’s work Experimental Research on Measuring Moment of Inertia of Rigid Body Using Smartphone won the third prize.
       This competition is co-sponsored by the Shandong Association of Science and Technology, the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Shandong Provincial Economic and Information Commission, the Shandong Provincial Department of Education, and the Shandong Physical Society. It is one of the competitions the Shandong University Student Science and Technology Festival as a platform to showcase the scientific and technological innovation achievements of physics majors in the province and improve the comprehensive quality of college students.
