On the evening of December 23, our school’s faculty and staff New Year’s recital was held in the second lecture hall of the Academy Hall. Party committee member and vice president Sun Yinhe attended the event and recited Xu Zhimo's classic work Farewell Cambridge Again.
In his speech, Sun Yinhe congratulated the faculty and staff on the success of the first performance of the Recitation Association, and hoped that the Recitation Association will play a leading role in reading, so that more faculty and staff would like to read and enjoy the recitation and contribute to the construction of campus culture.
With the theme of Enjoy Reading, the recitation session kicked off in the Chinese Recitation performed by the Presidium of the Faculty Recitation Association. Accompanied by the melodious music, the faculty and staff, based on their understanding and perception of the poetry, are either impassioned, low-pitched and tactful, or up and down, and the exquisite recitation skills and natural emotional expression brought the audience into a beautiful poetic environment. The classics Reading China, My Ancestor is Yanhuang, Youth China are full of patriotic passion, expressing the incomparable love for the motherland, indefinite expectation and determination to dedication; the original work Walking in the spring breeze of Chinese poetry I Call Your Name in the Water demonstrates the charm of Chinese culture and demonstrates the inheritance and innovation of Chinese excellent traditional culture; the anti-epidemic theme work Believe and When the epidemic is over, I will go to Wuhan again about the anti-epidemic The story pays tribute to the heroes of the fight against the epidemic, showing the majestic power of China's anti-epidemic spirit. The whole recitation session was brilliant and climaxed, showing the strong family and country sentiments and high spirits of our school's faculty and staff.
This event is sponsored by the school union and undertaken by the faculty recitation association. It aims to welcome the arrival of the 2021 New Year, pay tribute to the laborers with voice, and create a positive campus cultural atmosphere. Twenty-nine faculty members from 11 departments of the school and secondary colleges performed 12 recitations. More than 200 people watched the reading, including the heads of the State-owned Assets Management Office, the Labor Union, the General Party Branch of the Agency, and the Aeronautical Engineering College, Flight Attendance College, Art College, and Humanities College.
