Our School Students Have Achieved Good Results in the 2020 National College Student Physics Experiment Competition

On December 13, the 2020 National College Student Physics Experiment Competition came to an end. Our school's students Zhang Lianhao, Wang Hao, and Liu Xiaofei's entry work Micro Arc Discharge Demonstrator (instructor Chen Qingdong) won the national first prize.
        It is reported that the National College Student Physics Experiment Competition is sponsored by the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center Joint Association, the National College Experimental Physics Teaching Research Association, and the Chinese Physical Society. A total of 1,408 teams from 410 universities participated. After the preliminary review, online review, and semi-final defense, 886 winning teams were selected, among which, the first prize accounted for 10%, the second prize accounted for 20%, and the third prize accounted for 30%.
        By participating in this National Physics Experiment Design Competition, our school students have stimulated their interest in physics experiments and practical potential, actively participate in physics practice, and cultivate and improve their innovative ability, practical ability and teamwork awareness in practice. At the same time, the competition will also promote the reform of physics experiment teaching and further enhance the quality and level of physics experiment teaching in our school.
