On the afternoon of March 31, our school's discipline construction and scientific research work promotion meeting was held in the third lecture hall. Party committee member and vice president Li Weinian presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
Li Weinian emphasized in his speech that this year is the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan and a key year for the high-quality development of our school. He requested that, first, we must work hard to improve the quality of scientific research and discipline construction. It is necessary to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of young talents in scientific research, high standards, strict requirements, make good use of pioneers, train elite soldiers, focus on high-level achievements, and make contributions to the scientific research and discipline construction of the unit. Second, we must work hard to improve the management level of scientific research and discipline construction, give full play to the role of the scientific research organization of the secondary unit, use scientific and professional management methods, realize refined management, and improve the efficiency of scientific research management. It is necessary to focus on and grasp the key points, do a good job in the training of key talents, and promote the discipline construction and scientific research work of the unit to a new level. Third, we must work hard to strengthen academic ethics and academic integrity. It is necessary to effectively strengthen the warning education for all scientific research workers, stick to the academic bottom line thinking, implement zero tolerance for academic misconduct, and investigate and deal with it together to prevent academic misconduct.
The person in charge of the Scientific Research Office notified the application status of our school's national-level projects, and decided for the next high-level scientific research projects and horizontal project management; the head of the Graduate School planned for the new round of discipline construction.
