On the afternoon of April 27th, the 2021 Celebrating May 1st faculty tug-of-war competition with the theme of Achieving a Hundred-Year Dream and Striving for a New Journey was successfully held in the school's track field. Sun Yinhe, member of the school’s party committee and vice president, attended the event and presented awards to the award-winning branch. The trade union, the head of the sports college and the chairman of other branches participated in the event. Nearly 500 faculty and staff from 23 branches participated in the competition.
The competition takes the form of a mixed team of men and women. The participating teams actively organize and cooperate in unity. The referees strictly abide by the rules and make fair plays. The atmosphere on the scene is extremely warm. On the field, the players of the participating teams were energetic and motivated, fully demonstrating the spirit of unity and progress. The enthusiasm of the cheerleaders outside the field was high, and cheering voices continued one after another, which not only boosted morale, but also stimulated the potential of the team members and became a beautiful scenery on the campus.
After fierce competition, the branch of the Sports Academy, the second branch of the agency, and the branch of the Flying Academy won the championship, second and third place. The branch of the School of Science, the branch of the School of Biological and Environmental Engineering, the branch of the School of Chemical Engineering and Safety, the branch of the School of Information Engineering, and the first branch of the agency won the fourth to eighth places.
This event is sponsored by the school union and co-organized by the School of Physical Education. It aims to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, welcome the May 1st International Labor Day, sing the main theme of Chinese Dream Work Beauty, and create a positive, united, cooperative, and harmonious campus culture Atmosphere.
