On September 20, the special session of the 2021 Physical Education Work Committee of our school was held in the third lecture room of the Academy Hall. Guo Xinwei, member of the party committee, vice president, and director of the school sports committee presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
Guo Xinwei emphasized in his speech that first, we must attach great importance to sports work, do a good job of guidance, supervision and management, and create a good environment and conditions for teachers and students to have a good physical education class and participate in extracurricular physical exercises. Second, we must conscientiously do a good job in hosting events. For the preparation work, for the upcoming 8th College Physical Education Student Fundamental Skills Competition in Shandong Province, the School Sports Work Committee should strengthen the organization and leadership of the competition, the physical education college should play the main role, the relevant functional departments should coordinate and cooperate, and the special working groups should establish an organization to formulate detailed rules, decompose tasks, assign responsibilities to individuals. We must endeavor to make all preparations to ensure the complete success of the event. Third, it is necessary to do a solid job in the organization and management of physical test, highlight the implementation of responsibilities, and attach great importance to the physical health of students , formulate measures to supervise and encourage students to participate in physical exercise, guide students to develop good exercise habits and healthy lifestyles, form an effective mechanism for motivating students to strengthen physical exercise, and jointly promote the healthy development of school physical education.
At the meeting, the deputy director of the school Physical Education Work Committee and the person in charge of the Physical Education College summarized and analyzed the school physical education work in the first half of 2021 and the physical fitness test, and interpreted our school’s holding of the eighth college physical education major in Shandong Province. The overall work plan of the Student Basic Skills Competition and the implementation plan of participating in the 16th University Games of Shandong Province.
