On October 26, the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council issued the Notice on the List of Doctoral and Master's Degree Granting Units and their Degree Authorization Units for 2020 (Degree [2021] No. 13), and our university was officially approved as a master's degree granting unit, as well as two master's degree authorization units for Resources and Environment, and Transportation.
The successful approval of our university as a master's degree granting unit is the result of the care and support from the Party Committee and government at the higher level and all walks of life for many years, as well as the result of the concentrated efforts, dedication, and efforts of the Party committee and administration of the university to lead all teachers and students. This is another historical breakthrough of the school since its establishment in 1954, following the success of the school's promotion as Binzhou University in 2004, and is a milestone event in the history of the school's development, marking a new leap in the school's level of operation.
Standing at the new development starting point, the school will take advantage of the momentum, follow the trend, further seize the opportunity, courageously move forward, comprehensively improve the level of high-level talent training, more vigorously promote the school's connotation development, characteristic development, high-quality development, more vigorously serve the aviation and transportation industry and regional economic and social development, and provide strong support for the construction of a high-level applied university with distinctive aviation characteristics.
