On the afternoon of November 25th, Guo Xinwei, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the school, delivered an ideological and political lecture of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Party in classroom 408 of Teaching Building No. 9.
In the lecture, Guo Xinwei profoundly expounded the great historical significance of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and made an in-depth interpretation of the Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party's Centennial Struggle passed by the plenary meeting. He pointed out that the Resolution comprehensively and accurately summarized the glorious history and brilliant achievements of the four historical periods of the Communist Party of China in the past century, focusing on the original ideas, transformative practices, breakthrough progress and signs since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Achievements, systematically summarized as five historical significance and ten historical experiences highlighting Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and their “achievement with a new leap in the Chinese approach of Marxism; historically proposed the two establishments are of decisive significance in the development of the cause of the Party and the country in the new era and the promotion of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
The president pointed out that an accurate understanding of the spirit of the plenary meeting and grasping the essence of the Resolution has great significance for our study, work and life. He asked young students to strengthen the study of the spirit of the plenary, integrate their personal development and progress into the development of the country and national rejuvenation to strengthen the four self-confidence, draw wisdom from the party's advanced theories and excellent experience. He learned about the students' study and life in the school during the six months, combined with the school's development history and the current historical opportunities, and put forward ardent expectations for the learning and development of young students. In the end, he used the words of General Secretary Xi Jinping to encourage everyone: “Young people should be mind-boggling in school, learn the knowledge and serve the motherland and its people!”
