On the afternoon of February 23rd, our university held the promotion conference of the national fund project application work 2023 in Li Xue conference hall. Li Changhai, secretary of the party committee of our university attended the conference and made a speech. Li Weinian, member of the party committee and vice president of our university hosted the conference. The head of each second level school and university’s scientific research institution, the relevant comrades in charge of HR office and academic affairs office attended the conference.
Li Changhai pointed in the speech that the quality and quantity of the approval of the national fund project should be an important symbol of the scientific innovation ability of a university as well as an important indicator of the teaching staff construction level of a university. He made three specific requirements after affirming some effective measures in the previous national fund project application work. Firstly, each school should schedule the argument work, make an inverted schedule, take actions with wall chart, make connections with the experts actively to get some instructions and improve the quality of the application materials. Secondly, functional departments should strengthen supervisions and attach importance to the national fund project application to make sure the practical implementation of the application work and get some effects. Thirdly, we should enhance the publicity and support the younger doctors in order to improve the young talented people’s scientific innovation ability through this application opportunity. He emphasized that the relevant functional departments should perfect the evaluation mechanism of the national fund project application in our university continuously with the predominating direction of gaining the approval of high-level projects with the purpose of university’s development.
Li Weinian emphasized that each school should implement the spirit of the conference seriously and take the revision work of the national fund project declaration practically so as to get new breakthrough in the quality and quantity of the national fund project approval in 2023.
