On May 9th, Mr. Karnikov Mikhail, the President of Russian Irkutsk National Research Technical University, led a delegation to visit Binzhou University to discuss cooperation and exchange. Hu Bo, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Binzhou University, warmly received the visiting guests in Lixue Lecture Hall. The director of International Exchange and Cooperation office, the dean of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department and relevant personnel attended the meeting.
Hu Bo warmly welcomed the arrival of the guests from Irkutsk National Research Technical University, and introduced the school characteristics, construction of disciplines and majors, construction of teaching staff, talent cultivation, international exchanges and cooperation, etc. Hu Bo pointed out that the first enrollment of the cooperative education project of aircraft manufacturing engineering major jointly organized by both sides was successfully completed in 2022, and the cooperation between both sides has achieved phased results. He hoped that both sides could expand the cooperation areas on the basis of existing projects, carry out cooperation in scientific research projects, visiting teachers and students, laboratory construction, etc., and jointly cultivate interdisciplinary talents in the direction of common interests.
Mr. Karnikov Mikhail introduced the characteristic majors, talent cultivation and subject construction of Irkutsk National Research Technical University. He hoped that this visit could consolidate the existing cooperation between both sides, further strengthen cooperation and exchanges, and promote common development in various fields such as scientific research and teaching.
Both sides held friendly talks on the undergraduate education project of aircraft manufacturing engineering, held the first meeting of the Joint Management Committee of the Sino-Russian Cooperative Education Project, determined a regular communication and exchange mechanism, discussed relevant matters related to project operation, and signed a meeting memorandum.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the campus, exhibition room of aviation education achievements, the Flight Academy and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department, had a friendly meeting with students majoring in aircraft manufacturing engineering in the academic lecture hall of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department, and answered the questions raised by the students.
