On the morning of March 7th, Binzhou Municipal Party Secretary Song Yongxiang visited our school to supervise the implementation of the “Two Responsibilities” for food safety. He emphasized the need to deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important statements on food safety, with a sense of responsibility to ensure food safety at all times, focusing on solidifying and refining the school’s food safety work to safeguard the safety of the students and staff’s food. Binzhou Municipal Party Standing Committee member and Secretary-General Ding Feng, our school’s Party Secretary Li Changhai, and Deputy Party Secretary and President Li Weinian accompanied the inspection.
At the Boxiang Yuan Cafeteria and Zhixing Yuan Cafeteria, Song Yongxiang inspected the food storage, food processing, and food sample testing, and listened to the report on the implementation of the school’s food safety responsibilities and the “daily control, weekly inspection, monthly scheduling” work mechanism.
Song Yongxiang pointed out that food safety is of utmost importance. He stressed the need to elevate the sense of responsibility, strictly implement the four strictest requirements, and firmly fortify the defense line of food safety. It is necessary to tighten and implement responsibilities, improve the entire process, full-flow and full-chain food safety supervision system, strengthen control over food sources, supervise the processing process, and enforce hygiene standards, fully implement the responsibilities of cafeteria management entities and staff, ensuring the food safety of students and staff. Efforts should be made to enhance publicity and guidance, disseminate food safety knowledge through various means, create a good atmosphere for the participation of students, staff and the wider community, effectively securing the bottom line of food safety.
