On April 8th, a delegation led by Chen Wei, deputy general manager of the Jinan Branch of China Merchants Bank (CMB), visited Shandong University of Aeronautics (SDUA) for inspection and exchange. Li Changhai, secretary of SDUA Party Committee, and Gong Xinjun, member of the university party committee and vice president, warmly received the guests in meeting room 201 of the South Office Building.
Li Changhai extended a warm welcome to Chen Wei’s delegation and provided an overview of the university’s profile, covering its educational history, scale of operations, talent cultivation, and faculty development. He particularly highlighted the university’s fundamental work and landmark achievements in transformational development and aeronautics education programs.Li noted that CMB and SDUA have established a solid cooperative foundation, expressing hope that both parties would further strengthen communication and coordination, expand collaborative areas, innovate partnership models, and ultimately achieve mutual benefit and shared growth. Chen Wei highly commended the university’s accomplishments in recent years. He shared CMB’s development history, platform construction and strategic plans, pledging to leverage the bank’s strengths as a financial institution to enhance cultural collaboration and contribute more robustly to the education sector.
