In order to further implement the notification requirements from higher authorities regarding ensuring campus fire safety work in the near future and strengthen the rectification of fire safety hazards, on May 6, Yin Meiying, Deputy Party Secretary of the school, led relevant department heads to delve into key fire-prevention areas such as the library and student dormitories to supervise the screening and rectification work for identifying and eliminating fire safety hazards on campus.
During the inspection, the heads of the library and the Student Affairs Office respectively reported on the implementation of fire safety responsibilities in the library and student dormitories. The head of the Security Office introduced the locations of risk-prone areas identified during recent fire safety inspections and the corresponding rectification measures.
During the inspection Yin Meiying emphasized the need to further implement the guidelines outlined in the provincial video conference on school safety. She urged everyone to thoroughly learn from the lessons of various fire incidents, rigorously uphold the primary responsibilities for fire safety, and enhance fire safety management protocols. Additionally, she called for increased efforts in identifying and promptly rectifying potential safety hazards, with the unwavering commitment to preventing any fire safety liability accidents. Her ultimate goal is to safeguard the lives and property of teachers and students, while ensuring the overall stability and security of the campus environment.
