On the morning of June 3, a delegation led by Jeffrey Stanger, Head of International Affairs and Executive Education of Business School of Massey University in New Zealand, visited Shandong University of Aeronautics (SDUA). The bilateral exchange and discussion meeting was held in Room 210 of the South Building of the Administration Office. Guo Xinwei, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of SDUA, attended the meeting and delivered a welcoming speech.

Guo Xinwei extended a warm welcome to Mr. Jeffrey Stanger and his delegation. He introduced SDUAs history, characteristics, disciplines and majors, as well as its internationalization efforts. He pointed out that Massey University is a renowned institution of higher learning in New Zealand and around the world. Last year, a delegation from SDUA visited Massey University, initiating a friendly cooperation between the two universities. The two sides have reached a consensus on jointly promoting the 3+180 credits bachelor-master joint training program for business students and the 2+2.5+0.5 undergraduate double degree joint training program for architecture majors. The visit by Mr. Jeffrey Stanger and his delegation this time is expected to accelerate the effective implementation of these cooperative projects. He hoped that the two universities would continue to maintain close exchanges, deepen cooperation, and build a better platform for exchanges and cooperation between faculty and students of both universities. Jeffrey Stanger expressed admiration for the high-quality development of SDUA. He mentioned that the purpose of this return visit to SDUA was to deepen the understanding of our university, promote the implementation of the projects through delivering presentations to students, discuss new cooperative projects and further expand bilateral cooperation.

The two sides reached a preliminary cooperation intention on short-term student exchange programs and a joint training program for bachelor-to-master degree upgrades, and signed a memorandum of cooperation.

Following the meeting, the two sides jointly held a recruitment presentation for the cooperative projects in the Mingde Lecture Hall, attended by over 300 students from SDUA.

Heads from the School of Economics and Management, the School of Intelligent Construction, and relevant staff from the International Exchange and Cooperation Office participated in the discussion meeting.
