On September 12, a preparation meeting for the 2025 Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Mathematical Society was held in Conference Room 216 of Shandong University of Aeronautics (SDUA)’s administration building. Li Weinian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of SDUA, Du Wei, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of SDUA, Wang Hongmin, Secretary of the Party Group and President of the Binzhou Municipal Association for Science and Technology, and Han Zhugong, a second-level researcher at the Binzhou Municipal Association for Science and Technology, attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Du Wei.
In his remarks, Li Weinian pointed out that the 2025 Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Mathematical Society would be hosted by the Chinese Mathematical Society, organized by SDUA, supported by Shandong University, Binzhou Association for Science and Technology, Binzhou Weiqiao Guoke Advanced Technology Research Institute, Zouping Municipal People’s Government. It is expected that over a thousand experts and scholars, including academicians, council members, and university representatives, will attend the conference, making it a grand event in the field of mathematics. He emphasized that the conference would feature a rich program, including an opening ceremony, award presentations, academic reports, satellite meetings, and popular science activities. Close collaboration among all co-organizers is essential to further refine and solidify division of responsibilities across departments, ensuring the successful execution of the conference.
Wang Hongmin introduced the preparation plan for the series of activities during the 2025 academic conference and proposed the establishment of a conference preparation working group. The working group will consist of five specialized subgroups: Comprehensive Group, Reception Group, Venue Group, Publicity Group, and Service Support Group, with tasks already assigned to relevant units and departments. He stressed the importance of clarifying individual responsibilities, drafting detailed work protocols, and advancing all preparations according to the established timeline.
The meeting also involved in-depth discussions on specific matters such as guest reception, vehicle scheduling, and hotel arrangements.
Leaders from the School of Science and the Scientific Research Department of SDUA, as well as individuals concerned from Binzhou Municipal Association for Science and Technology, attended the meeting.
