SDUA Held Experience Sharing Meeting on the Application of Projects Funded by NSFC

To thoroughly prepare for the 2026 the application ofprojects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Shandong University of Aeronautics (SDUA)heldan experience exchange meetingon such application in the Xueyuan Hall on the afternoon of September 18. Dr. Zhao Wanli and Dr. Sun Jianni from the Yellow River Delta Ecological Environment Research Center (School of Ecological Environment), Dr. Wang Manling from the School of Intelligent Construction, and Dr. Liu Guanjun from the School of Chemical Engineering and Materials shared their application experiences. Du Wei, member Party Committee and Vice Presidentof SDUA , attended the meeting.

The four doctors shared insights on topic selection, research design, and proposal writing and revision from various perspectives. Key recommendations included: first, maintaining sustained focus and gradually deepening research to ensure continuity in research direction; second, repeatedly revising and refining the application proposal, emphasizing the incorporation of constructive feedback; third, evaluating the chosen topic and research content from the perspective of a review expert to enhance competitiveness. They also encouraged young faculty members to maintain a steady mindset and persevere, assuring them that sustained effort would lead to success.

This experience sharing meeting effectively stimulated academic vitality, improved the application level for NSFC projects, and promoted high-quality development of scientific research by sharing experiences and enhancing capabilities.

Attendees included vice deans in charge of research and research secretaries from the university’s science and engineering schools, as well as all associate senior faculty members and above, and faculty members with doctoral degrees from across the university.
