On the afternoon of October 30th, Shandong University of Aeronautics (SDUA) held an online exchange meeting with Mantua Conservatory of Music of in Conference Room 210 of the South Administration Building. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on promoting inter-university exchanges and cooperation, as well as expanding educational exchange channels. Guo Xinwei, member of the party committee and vice president of SDUA, and Mr. Gianluca Punialoni, director of the Mantua Conservatory of Music, attended the meeting.
Mr. Guo first briefly introduced the university’s school positioning, disciplinary characteristics, and recent achievements in talent cultivation, scientific research, and social services. He emphasized the university’s vision of advancing internationalized education and building a platform for cross-cultural exchanges. Director Gianluca Punialoni then shared in detail the experiences of Mantua Conservatory of in music discipline development, artistic practice, and international cooperation, which demonstrates its strengths and resources in the global music education field.
During the constructive negotiations, both parties engaged in fruitful discussions centered on three key areas: faculty academic symposiums, student exchange programs, and cultural exchange and practice. Building on their respective disciplinary strengths, they reached preliminary agreements on several collaborative initiatives, including sharing high-quality teaching resources, establishing short-term student exchange programs, and jointly establishing an art practice base. The parties agreed to establish a friendly inter-school partnership, with plans to further optimize cooperation mechanisms and refine implementation plans to translate initial intent into tangible outcomes.
The online exchange served as an effective bridge of communication between the two institutions, which not only enhanced mutual understanding and trust but also laid a solid foundation for exploring new models of international music talent development and jointly elevating educational excellence.
