Shandong University of Aeronautics Holds Signing Ceremony for Industry-University-Research Cooperation and Launch Ceremony for Joint Graduate Training Base with Shandong Museum

To deepen museum-university cooperation, enhance collaborative innovation capabilities, and promote university-locality joint construction, Shandong University of Aeronautics (SDUA) recently held a signing ceremony for industry-university-research cooperation and launch ceremony for a joint graduate training base with Shandong Museum. Gong Xinjun, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of SDUA, and Liu Yanchang, Party Secretary and curator of Shandong Museum, attended the ceremony.

Gong Xinjun introduced briefly school-running characteristics, social services, and development goals of SDUA. He expressed the hope that through this collaborative construction, a sound cooperation platform could be established to jointly explore new models and paths for industry-university-research cooperation, thereby injecting new impetus into promoting the development of museum disciplines, cultivating high-quality professionals, and strengthening the university’s ability to serve the cultural undertakings across Shandong province. Liu Yanchang spoke highly of the achievements SDUA has made in its school-running endeavors and introduced the basic information of Shandong Museum. He hoped that both sides would continue to deepen cooperation, achieve resource sharing, and make greater contributions to cultural inheritance and innovation across the province.

Both parties signed the strategic cooperation agreement on industry-university-research and the cooperation agreement on the joint graduate training base, marking the commencement of comprehensive cooperation between SDUA and Shandong Museum in academic research and talent cultivation.

At the ceremony, Gong Xinjun presented Liu Yanchang a certificate of appointment as an adjunct professor. Liu Yanchang donated a batch of precious books to SDUA, providing strong support for the university to carry out relevant research.

The attendees visited and inspected various functional areas of Shandong Museum, gaining an in-depth understanding of the museum’s collection protection and display, public space design, and operational management. The heads of the Office, Cultural Relics Protection Department, and Information Department of Shandong Museum, as well as the heads of the Cooperation and Development Office and the School of Humanities of SDUA, participated in this collaborative construction activity.
