On the morning of May 9, Jiang Ding, Party Secretary and General Manager of China Unicom Binzhou Branch (CUBB), led a delegation to visit Shandong University of Aeronautics (SDUA) for inspection and exchange Li Changhai, Party Secretary of SDUA, and Sun Yinhe, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of SDUA, warmly received the guests in Conference Room 201 of the South Office Building.
Li Changhai extended a warm welcome to Jiang Ding and his delegation and briefly introduced the recent development of the university. He pointed out that the university has always adhered to an open-minded philosophy of education, and actively deepened cooperation with high-quality enterprises in fields such as digital campus construction, artificial intelligence application and information technology upgrading. He expressed the hope that taking this exchange as an opportunity, both sides could further expand cooperation areas on the existing foundation. Focusing on key sectors including scientific research computing support and co-creation of AI application scenarios, the two parties will strengthen collaboration. By giving full play to CUBB’s strengths in technology, resources and platforms, they will achieve mutual benefit and common development between university and enterprise.
Jiang Ding introduced the transformation achievements and resource strengths of CUBB in the fields of information-based services, computing power platforms, large-scale AI models, and data security. He stated that the branch would continue to provide the university with high-quality basic support services including network communication, classified security assessment and fixed-line telephone upgrading. The branch would also further expand cooperation areas and elevate service quality and efficiency, so as to facilitate the high-quality development of the university’s IT infrastructure development and talent cultivation.
